Basing on years of experience and superiorities in technology, after Canon releases its new ‘Image-PROGA’ series Large Format Printers, Hongsam develops this specific ink for Canon IPF500/600/700.

Canon IPF500/600/700 adopt the new ink system that consists of four basic colors-Cyan, Magenta, Yellow and regular Black which are dye-based and two channels of Matte Black which is pigment based. Doubling the matte black is used for maximum black density and speed. When printing, matte black pigment ink or black dye ink is automatically selected based on the media type selected in the printer driver. Matte black will be used when printing on plain or matte media whereas the dye-based black will be used when printing on coated or glossy paper.
